The B & B 'Esperança' Frascineto located in a country of little more 'than 2,500 inhabitants. An ancient rite of Albanian village, still rites and customs of this ancient culture, as well as being in the foothills of the mountains of the Pollino National Park, one of the most protected areas' largest in Europe.
 The park retains its natural beauty so you can make vast landscapes and diverse, with large areas of pristine, beautiful and rich in plant and animal species, now rare. Stand out in particular the Apennine wolf, eagles and pine loricato. The park also offers archaeological sites, ruins, ancient castles and monasteries.
You can enjoy many activities' sports such as mountaineering, trekking on foot or with montenbike, canoeing, rafting, horseback riding and cross country.
Frascineto occupying a strategic position, offers a few kilometers away is the Ionian sea, the mountains of the national park, in addition to the famous gorges of the tree frog. |

Nei pressi del cimitero, in contrada foresta di S. Pietro, troviamo l’omonima Chiesa parrocchiale di origine basiliana. Quasi interamente rifatta nel ‘500, mantenne l’impianto originale con absidi a trifoglio e cupola. Sulle splendide montagne calcaree, ricche di grotte ed anfratti, è situata la Chiesetta di Santa Maria delle Armi, conosciuta come la" Madonna di Lassù". Nella vicina frazione di Eianina, antica Porcile, sono ancora ravvisabili i resti del palazzo Spinelli e lla Chiesa di S. Basilio Magno.
